Republica’s 1996 debut album delivered three singles: “Bloke,” “Ready to Go,” and “Drop Dead Gorgeous,” with the last two becoming massive international hits. Upon release, the album earned positive reviews, climbed to #4 on the UK Albums Chart, and found success across Germany, the Netherlands, and New Zealand.

“Ready to Go” became a true 1990s anthem. BuzzFeed ranked it #37 on their list of the 101 Greatest Dance Songs of the decade, and it has been featured in commercials, films, and TV series including Baywatch, Captain Marvel, Malcolm in the Middle, and Queer As Folk. It is also the theme song for the Top Thrill Dragster roller coaster at Cedar Point in Ohio.
