Globetrotting Texan trio Khruangbin reimagine their acclaimed second album Con Todo El Mundo through the lens of dub on Hasta El Cielo — a hypnotic, meditative rework that deepens their global psychedelic funk into a lush, spacious soundscape.

Processed anew from start to finish and featuring two bonus dubs by legendary Jamaican producer Scientist, Hasta El Cielo amplifies the band’s trademark groove and atmosphere with delay-drenched basslines, echoing guitars, and wide-open space that feels almost spiritual in tone.

Comprising Laura Lee (bass), Mark Speer (guitar), and Donald “DJ” Johnson (drums), Khruangbin have built a sound that flows effortlessly between world traditions — from Thai funk to Mediterranean soul — while remaining distinctly their own. On Hasta El Cielo, that sound finds its most immersive form yet.
