Following the massive success of Life, the band moved toward a darker, more expansive sound that traded the short "pop bursts" of their debut for sprawling, organ-drenched epics. Peaking at #5 on the UK Album Charts, the record solidified the band—and Clint Boon’s iconic Farfisa organ—as a pillar of the Manchester scene.

This 30th Anniversary reissue marks the first time the album has been available on vinyl since its original 1991 pressing.
