Layers stacked deep, beats built to punish a club PA, and a sense of restraint that a lot of harsh EBM never bothers with. \"Herbsterwachen\" opens with seven and a half minutes of slow-building menace, \"Stammheim\" and \"Direction:North\" are the floor-fillers, and \"Kreuzgang V.2\" and \"Reincarnation\" push toward something closer to melodic electro. \"Telepathic\" and \"Floating\" get close to actual pop songs without softening anything. Krischan Wesenberg of Rotersand handled mastering and additional vocal production, which explains some of the polish.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003eThe album landed at the peak of the Accession Records era, when the label was defining what German electro-industrial sounded like, and \u003cem\u003eBestie:Mensch\u003c\/em\u003e still gets cited as the record where SITD found their identity.
